<![CDATA[This study discusses trauma healing through the film "The Zookeeper's Wife" which was adapted from a novel by Dianne Ackerman and directed by Niki Caro as a way to normalize the relations between Germans and Jews. The purpose of this study was to identify the signs  in the film which can be used as a healing from historical trauma due to the holocaust. This study uses qualitative method with data in the form of data extraction that has been taken from the film "The Zookeeper's Wife." Using Charles Sanders Pierce’s semiotic theory and Trauma theory by some experts, the outcome of this research shows that there are two elements for healing historical trauma, namely the trauma healing of Urszula, a Jewish girl and the trauma healing of German that leads to German-Jewish normalization. ]]>

<![CDATA[Maternal mortality is among the neglected problem in the District of Uzumba, Zimbabwe. This qualitative study therefore, explores the patriarchal hegemonies embedded in the socio-cultural harmful practices, traditions, beliefs, values and norms associated with maternal mortality in Uzumba district. These have been neglected in the reduction initiatives of maternal mortality. The originality of this study lies in the use of primary data through interviews and observation methods on the key informants and significant. Snowballing technique was employed in this study to select the key informants and significant others. The study have also benefited from the proliferation of secondary data on the social phenomena of maternal mortality across the globe. The results of the study showed that, despite the medical related causes of maternal mortality, the non-medical aspects such as patriarchal hegemonies in the socio-cultural practices, beliefs, traditions, norms, values and perceptions play a significant role in escalating maternal mortality especially in Uzumba district, Zimbabwe. The article therefore, recommends that maternal mortality reduction needs more of a holistic approach of medical and non-medical initiatives as it is still the major problem in Zimbabwe’s rural communities. Therefore, maternal mortality can be addressed and reduced within the socio-cultural context as shown in Uzumba district, Zimbabwe.]]>

<![CDATA[Pola asuh merupakan metode yang digunakan oleh orang tua untuk mendidik, membimbing serta mencurahkan kasih sayang pada anak. Namun, tidak semua pola pengasuhan dapat membantu anak berkembang dengan baik. Pendekatan humanistik yang memiliki lingkup luas dalam mengkaji kebutuhan dapat menjadi solusi dalam menemukan pola pengasuhan yang tepat. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kepustakaan untuk mengkaji serta mengintegrasikan konsep humanistik dalam pola pengasuhan anak. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwasanya konsep humanistik Abraham Maslow apabila diterapkan dalam pola pengasuhan dapat membantu anak mengembangkan potensi dengan baik sesuai dengan usia serta tugas perkembangan anak. Hal ini dikarenakan, dalam konsep humanistik pengkajian akan kebutuhan anak diperhatikan secara menyeluruh mulai dari aspek fisiologis hingga puncaknya aktualisasi diri. <![CDATA[The purpose of this study to know the Factors Affecting Early Teenager Riding Motorcycle. This research was conducted in X village Blora Regency. This data collection technique uses a triangulation approach, namely sampling, observation and interviews. There are two aspects that are assessed include, internal factors and external factors. Of these factors that most influence early adolescents riding a motorcycle are internal factors. The percentage of internal factors is 66.66%. This internal factor consists of parental control indicators, student motivation, and violation of rules in traffic. Of these indicators the most influential are parental control indicators. <![CDATA[Abstract:This study aims to examine the effect of risk perception on household preparedness in dealing with landslides in Sukaraja District, Bogor Regency. This research uses quantitative methods. The samples in this study were 30 people using purposive sampling technique. Based on the calculation results of a simple linear regression analysis can be obtained the equation Y = 16,308 + 1,006X. This shows the perception of risk has a positive effect on household preparedness in dealing with landslides in the District of Sukaraja, Bogor Regency. Meanwhile, the magnitude of the effect of risk perception on household preparedness is 47.1%, seen from the coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.471.Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh persepsi risiko terhadap kesiapsiagaan rumah tangga dalam menghadapi longsor di Kabupaten Sukaraja, Kabupaten Bogor. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 orang menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan analisis regresi linier sederhana dapat diperoleh persamaan Y = 16.308 + 1.006X. Hal ini menunjukkan persepsi risiko berpengaruh positif terhadap kesiapsiagaan rumah tangga dalam menghadapi longsor di Kecamatan Sukaraja, Kabupaten Bogor. Sementara itu, besarnya pengaruh persepsi risiko terhadap kesiapan rumah tangga adalah 47,1%, terlihat dari koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,471.]]>

<![CDATA[It is important for the main decision-making of vocational schools to maintain managerial effectiveness. To order to achieve educational goals, vocational school administrators can choose a decision-making method that fits the problem facing them. The aim of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of vocational school pricincipal’s decision making. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a questionnaire as a research instrument. The research sample is the headmaster of a vocational school in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The methodology used in this study for analyzing data is descriptive analysis. The results showed that in decision-making the SMK headmaster was quite successful. This can be seen from the systematic and organized decision-making, re-evaluating as new information is available, assessing the effects of the decision, and communicating the decision basis effectively.Keywords: effectiveness of decision, vocational school, principal decision making]]>

<![CDATA[This paper offers a critical interpretation of public relations (PR) generic principles application in faith-based women organization. In particular, this paper examines whether this organization should manage PR in separate management. This study takes up the PR application in the Central Board of Aisyiyah (CBA) since it subordinated the PR function to a secretary in the administrative period from 2010 down to date, whereas it engaged with PR as a single department on 2005-2010. This subordination turns into vice versa application of the generic principle because if the significant contribution of PR considered, its application pattern should be run from subordinative, as a part of another department, into an integrative management function. Therefore, this paper elaborates on the PR application in both periods and the factors working on it. The research method was a case study using the four models of PR, from Hunt and Grunig, as an analysis framework. The results indicate that there is no significant difference between the period of subordination and before. The factors that influenced its applications are knowledge and skill, shared expectations, participative culture, and organizational identity. <![CDATA[Entering the era of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which is a continuation of the MDG's concept of poverty, remains an unresolved problem. Indonesia as a member of the United Nations is committed to tackling the problem of poverty along with the SDGs declaration. If seen poverty in Indonesia is a severe problem because it involves the issue of wide inequality. Various attempts were made by the central and regional governments to overcome the problem of poverty. Yogyakarta Province as one of the poorest provinces in Java has several goals and programs implemented to overcome poverty. These programs also involve several related agencies because poverty faced is a multidimensional poverty problem. These programs are contained in the RPJMD of the Special Province of Yogyakarta in the 2017-2022 period.]]>

<![CDATA[It cannot be denied that children nowadays are very familiar with Internet. They mostly use internet connection for playing games rather than supporting their school assignments. Most online games the children play are imported from abroad so that language used is mostly English. As a result, children frequently pick up many English words from the game naturally. The present study is the continuous study of the vocabulary learning strategy mapping among 28 primary school students on grade 5 using the VOLSQUES survey. From the survey, the researcher found that 29% respondents chose internet as the source of their English vocabulary input. Started from this finding, the researcher continue the study by conducting descriptive qualitative research on those 29% respondents. The focus is on recognizing the Internet content commonly the respondents use and type of English vocabulary input they gain. All the respondents admit that they frequently play online games, especially the Mobile Legend game. The interesting result is that the participants are mostly unable to read and write the English words they recognize from the game correctly. This is understandable since the children listen from the game narrators. Besides, the typical English words they acquire are instructions.]]>

<![CDATA[This article aims to identify how the military is involved in civil service. During the phase of political upheaval in Indonesia the involvement of military groups was never even absent. This article finds that the two positions between civilians and the military have their respective duties in carrying out the mandate of the state which should not interfere with each other, based on the findings of this article that it turns out that until 2019 the efforts of military groups to fill civilian positions still exist. In addition, it was found that the political agenda in 2019 became a phenomenon with the strengthening of the issue of the Military Dual Function as a result of the transformation of the Indonesian Armed Forces Dual Function (ABRI) which had long disappeared after the collapse of the new order, so discourses of military involvement in civilian positions were considered political and became part of politics.
